The “Castagna Alta”
holiday home forms part of an estate of the same
name, which extends for over 25 hectares and includes
cultivated land and wooded areas of exceptional
beauty, ideal for nature lovers. A fun and unique
activity, whether on foot or on mountain bike,
is to follow the paths that trace their way through
the woods. Depending on the season you can collect
some of the delights that nature has to offer,
including: blackberries, asparagus, mushrooms
and truffles. The farm produces famous extra virgin
olive oil, in accordance with European Union directives
governing organic produce, from the fruit of the
100 year old olive grove, which has more than
3,000 plants. One of the farm’s activities
is breeding horses and you can admire them in
the estate's pastures and stables.
